Course Details
This program will introduce and provide information about the First Amendment. In addition, issues of free speech will be reviewed and discussed as it applies to working within an institution of higher education.
Objectives
- Learn more about the rights and duties associated with the First Amendment
- Discuss how free speech and civility are related in the expression of ideas
- Explore situations that reveal the complexities of the First Amendment
